Some people are interested in learning more about Christianity, others don't have the time or interest. The Bible verse that says, seek and I will show you or knock and I will open the door can apply to all forms of information, if you're interested. You've got to ask the questions first, don't be afraid to ask or find someone that you're comfortable asking these questions to. If you are truly interested in learning more about the Bible, here are some questions to ask your pastor, priest or other Christian leaders.
Where Are the 10 Commandments? The Bible tells us that Moses came down the mountain with two tablets. On these tablets, were 10 simple rules that all Jewish people and later on Christians would need to follow. But where are they, does your pastor have any idea, where they would be located.
Has Your Pastor ever Seen an Angel or Other Spiritual Being? In the book of Matthew, it makes a simple statement, if two of you, who believe in me, ask for anything, it shall be given to you by my father. It seems pretty simple, all you would need to do is ask to see Jesus, God or Gabriel. I wrote another article on this called, "Here's a Way to See Jesus -Good News for All Christians."
Have your Christian leaders ever read the Quran or other religious books outside of Christianity? This is a good question to ask and sometimes, your leaders for teachers will become embarrassed. They're afraid of exposing themselves, because they don't know how the others will react. These books could give you some clues and a better understanding of other people and religions around the world. If you could understand a Muslim or Hindu a little bit better, wouldn't that help you become a better person. Becoming a better person could inspire others to follow you. Jesus did this, he was the example.
Start with these three questions and I will have plenty of more in the future. It's not hard to think of questions to ask your religious leaders. Whenever you're reading the Bible, make sure that you have a pad of paper and a pen or pencil handy to write down verse numbers and questions that you have. The more questions that you have, the more that will eventually be answered.
